Application and Procedures

Applicant must:

1. be a patient on the cataract surgery waiting list of a public hospital in Hong Kong; and agree to have the surgery at C+ Health CKJ (Shenzhen) Hospital in Shenzhen ;
2. pass the screening questionnaire for the "Lifeline Express - Free Cross-border Cataract Surgery Program" ;
3. attend the pilot scheme briefing session and be assessed by medical staff as preliminarily eligible;
4. be invited to C+ Health CKJ (Shenzhen) Hospital for a full pre-operative assessment.

After passing the pre-operative assessment, the applicant will be confirmed as an eligible patient and scheduled for surgery.
